Extra Photos = Bonus BLOG...

As my title suggests, I have some disconnected photos sitting on my drive that I want to post. So, here goes...Here is a great shot of some old folks sitting at a table (it came with the new picture frame we bought). Actually, Sue and I finally got around to taking Dad out for his birthday. He and Mom wanted to go to his favorite mexican restaurant, Los Hermanos in Tucker. Good food and lots of fun with Jim and Nan.I mentioned painting the porch in one BLOG. Here is a shot of the trim along the top edge during the painting process. Old on the left, fresh paint on the right. And then a shot of the finished product after filling a few holes and cracks and laying down two coats of paint. "Putty and Paint makes the job what it aint..."I also have a few scout photos that are connected, sort of, by a theme. Our guys got back from the high adventure canoe base in Canada this week and brought back some great stories, and memories for all of us.This is a photo of one of my crews at the Atikokan base in Northern Ontario a few years back. Thats me on one knee, right front. It was a great trip! The latest crew brought back these souvenier paddles. Mine is hanging at our house...The high adventure bases are all very cool, but the canoe base is my favorite. Last photo I have is just a candid shot of Aaron at his troop meeting last week. He seems to be enjoying his new buddy's in the troop and looking forward to an Eagle project in the near future. Check out the groovy retro t-shirts they have for summer, class-B uniforms! Tie dye rocks!
Next time I get a bunch of mis-matched photos I will do another "pot luck" BLOG. Until then; I'll be seein' ya'...
