If you have a father (or a Dad, Pop or Old Man) give him a call and remind him that you appreciate him. He is one of the reasons you are here.
He is also probably the reason you know how to turn a wrench, throw a ball, drive a nail or tell a joke.
If you are a Dad (or about to be, Bryan) be sure to enjoy and appreciate your day. Take control of the remote, have a steak for dinner and be sure to gather all your cards and gifts and have a "manly" day.
I am also reminded of so many of the kids we have had in our lives and homes over the years. Many of the kids we have helped along the way are now grown and raising families of their own. A few are serving their country, some are helping others in their community. Some are gone, I miss them. A few still call.
Fathers Day is a wonderful tribute to all the men who helped us along the way.
Thanks, Dad.

Thanks jim. Good blog. Hope your father's day is as happy as mine will be. Remember, a father is the guy who is there when you need him.
Love.
