Noah got htis for Christmas and it has been a lot of fun for kids and adults ever since.
As you can see, the unit is very simple and easy to use. You just plug in the color-matched yellow plug on the EYECLOPS to the yellow outlet on your TV and set the channel.
The business end has a big, comfortable handle that kids can easily use and a lens that looks like a great big eyeball! After an adult (or in our case, Grampa') adjusts the lens for good focus the kids take over and look at anything they can get their hands on.
EYECLOPS, you see, is actually a very portable microscope that uses the TV screeen to view. How cool!! Rachel asked to play with it first and was looking at all kinds of stuff, like blue jean fabric, carpeting, a piece of paper and a page from a book that was laying on the table. Soon, the boys took over and the subject of the magnificent magnifier changed. We began to look at the bottom of dirty feet, hair, cuts, bruises and boo-boos. Noah even got Mom to cut off a toenail so we could get a good look. The loudest "YUCK" was probably when they zoomed in on Mom's poison ivy rash.
Aaron likes to examine plant leaves and other outdoor subjects, but he soon found that manufactured items were very fascinating as well. They snooped on some printed packaging and then the TV itself.
The fun reached a high point when Noah stuck the eyeball onto his belly button and showed us all the details. He then moved on to his ears (very hairy for such a small boy) and finally Grampa's bald spot (not very hairy for such an old man).
In the end, we all had a great time. Every item examined got a loud laugh and funny comments. "Your feet should be washed"," your ears are hairy", "Oh wow, that looks like the moon". As you can see, Noah was very pleased with the results of his discoveries.
If you get a chance to examine the microscopic world around us with a kid; Do it!! You will never have more fun.

That really sounds like a lot of good ol fashioned family fun. I had to change my picture on my blog, it was beginning to scare me.
Love.
What Fun!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the world through the eyes of a child again. Everyone should take every opportunity to regress whenever it's presented. I may have to get one of those things "just for laughs" around here. Talk to you soon. Love ya!!
That sounds like a pretty kewl toy!!
Oh, you gotta hook that puppy up to the VCR. Hook your CD player into the audio jacks. I wanna see some video.
This is one awesome toy! Cool post, as always!
