HAPPY FATHERS DAY...

Today is that one day every year that we dedicate to our dad's. As you can see, I am taking FULL advantage of my special day.
THE FUN HAS BEEN GOING ALL WEEKEND...
Yesterday, we had a lot of fun with the grandkids. Victoria's family delivered a great barbeque dinner with a special father's day "cookie cake" for the dad's in our family. Michael has been mastering his guitar lately, so the family chose this really clever theme for the cake.
Eve was especially happy to feed her sweet tooth.
I ALSO GOT A FEW THINGS DONE AT HOME...
I had friday off from work, and was happy to get my stitches removed and spend some time with Denny. Here he is "in action", doing his job at school when I dropped him off.
I also got some maintenance done on my car and around the house.
Here is the new look for our front door. We chose the color earlier this week while visiting the "big kids toy store" (aka Home Depot) and picking up my father's day gift. The color really works on the door, the shutters will be completed as time and temperature allow over the next few weeks.
AND SPEAKING OF GIFTS... Check this out, all you Tim Allen wanna' be's!! JIM the toolman has arrived. I have been wanting a good, all-pupose saw for a while and this one is great! It's a "dual-action, sliding compound miter saw". OH OH OH HO OH!!
I have already used it to repair the mailbox, with more projects set for the near future. Thanks sweet Sue, Denny and everyone else!
TIME TO GO...
Sue is getting breakfast ready, and the kids (and those two people they live with) are coming back today. I am watching the speed channel and waiting for a "special" breakfast before we all start celebrating again.

Be sure to call or visit your dad today, he is part of the reason you are here. Happy Fathers Day to all of you other dad's out there.

Now where did I leave that remote...
