February is birthday month for Michael and Granny Sue! We celebrated with Michael this weekend with a cake and lunch at his favorite restaurant, Sangria's.
And everyone had a great time. Rachel ate TWO plates!
Eve mooched some tasty desert... 
...and Noah was - well, Noah... 
MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE RANCH...We returned to complete the festivities with cake and ice cream.
...and Michael got some help with the candles.
NEW NEIGHBORS HAVE MOVED IN...Later in the day, after the birthday party, we noticed a visitor in the back yard. Then we realized there were TWO red-tailed hawks in the pecan tree out back! I tried to get a photo, but it was a little tough to get close enough.
I saw one of the young raptors again this morning, having his breakfast. I will attempt to get a better picture this week, but it will be dependant on time and weather.AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST!
