It has been a while since the downspouts had this much water flowing through them. Quite a few critters were sent scurrying for safety when the flow got going. They had taken up residence in the downspouts and did not know they would be evicted so suddenly.
I snapped a shot of the rain bouncing off the roof during a heavy downpour, but the mist that was created did not photo well. At least I didn't need the canoes to get away. Hey Chris! If you still want to hit the water, just call!! LOL. Now I finally have some water to go with the boats.
I spent a few moments relaxing on the back porch and enjoying the sound of the rain; It was a long-awaited pleasure to hear.
Now where did I leave that umbrella...

Aaron might be able to cut some lawns next week! We've got to keep that kid working! Great photos!
Hehe, the canoeing sounds good. We finally got some rain yesterday and today. Hopefully there will be more to come in the next few days.
We've been getting some rain here as well. It's rained every day this week for at least some part of the day. The grass is finally greening up again. I'm trying to work outside in the mornings before the afternoon rains arrive. Talk to you soon. Love ya!!
We also have had rain every day this week. I have had my yard declaired a National Dandelion reserve. Now I don't have to mow
Honey, I love the photos! The rain has been the answer to lots of prayers.
