Happy Birthday Noah!!!
Way back at the turn of the century an amazing thing happened. We were all breathing a sigh of relief that we had survived Y2K; the supposedly devistating change-over to the new milenium and possibly the "end of the world".
Instead, we had the quiet, almost unnoticed, birth of a dynasty. The mighty Noah burst on the scene!! We all survived "Noah 2K"; For now.
Today is Noah's 8th birthday, and we all wish him the best in his wonderful life. I must share a few "Noah-isms" to bring y'all up to date with the life-changing force that is my grandson.
Recently, as Noah was watching a game of scrabble between some adults, he commented on his place in life. He wanted to be in the game; in fact he was keeping score flawlessly. But he felt his youth was against him. As he watched, with his chin resting on his hands, he said, "I wish I could play, but I have a limited vocabulary". THIS FROM A 7 YEAR OLD BOY!!!!!!
I love all of the grandchildren, but as each reaches a special point in their young lives, it is fun to examine what is going on for them. Noah is the only "non-september" birthday we have in the Taylor /Towhey clan. This makes him special and different.
This Sunday, Noah will be baptised. The bishop recently interviewed him and commented that Noah was a child that was more like an adult when it came to understanding life.
My number 3 grandchild is very special. He wants to build a robot to do all his work, and then fly to another planet to battle aliens. He also wants to protect small pets and animals while devistating entire planetary systems with the snap of his fingers. He loves "oinky", his stuffed pet pig. He also wants to explain all of the details of the universe for those adults who "just don't get it"...
Happy birthday to "The Mighty Noah"; Defender of the universe and lousy speller. Granny and I love you very much...

This is an instant classic! Hilarious tidbits about an exceptionally silly and brillant little man that I hope never becomes wants to take over the world with his robot creations! :)

Noah has just feasted on chicken nuggets and is snoring happily while Victoria reads everybody else a bedtime story.
