KIDS AND SNOW...

... LIFELONG MEMORIES
Just like everyone else our snow began light and grew more intense. Being a Friday, we looked forward to settling in for the weekend in warm comfort.
And then the kids arrived and all that changed; for the better, or "funner", if you use kid language.
We had a snowball fight, with wild-eyed adversaries...
And then built a snowman.
A pretty happy guy, considering he was stuffed full of pine straw.
MORE FUN INSIDE...

Eve asked for a fire, so we got a nice warm blaze going in the fireplace. We also had hot chocolate and cookies while warming ourselves in blankets by the fire and vegging in front of the TV.
NEXT DAY WAS FUN, TOO...

Eve got me up early to investigate the snow and go shopping for valentines day. She is my best traveling buddy every saturday.

We JEEPed down the icy road, almost alone, and went shopping.

After choosing just the right items for Granny, Mom and others we headed back home for a big breakfast and more winter fun.

We also had a bit of fun doing "donuts" in the iced over parking lot. Eve was giggling so hard she had to catch her breath. That was GREAT!
 BACK AT HOME...
We looked around the yard for some good photo op's and took some good pictures.

TO FINISH OFF THE COLD WEATHER FUN...
The kids stayed out and played until they wore out the snow. Then we all came back inside to warm up and relaxed. It was a fun weekend snow and a great family time.
Until' next time, I'll be seein' ya'...

I wish Maddy was close enough for me to get to go out and play with her!! I guess I'll just have to pack in "more" every time I see her...... Like NEXT WEEK!!!

Enjoy the kiddos while they'll let ya!!!

Looks like lots of fun!! Bryan wanted to go do donuts in a parking lot here with his car, but after some discussion, I convinced him that it wasn't the best idea. LoL!! :)

Eve was so excited that the snow was perfect and she could build the snowman and have a snowball fight. You guys were so funny getting up early to shop. What a wonderful surprise. Fun times!

Beautiful pictures Jim! I especially love the dogged determination of the bike in the snow! If I remember correctly, don't you & Sue get the kids each Friday night? Every now & then my three like to get out an old movie and watch together until we fall asleep.

Looks good. We got some more snow here today. In fact, it's been falling all day again. Nothing like the last time though. It's funny you went out driving. I got stuck behind two people on the interstate, doing 35 - 37 (next to each other) with their flashers on, too afraid to pass each other. They also liked to panic stop when they heard their tires crunch ice. Lots of fun. I was almost late to work though haha. Oh well. Take care.
